First it was a new little bird, and now we have a new little bear cub. Brady become an official member of the Teddy Bear Club preschool and daycare this week. Unfortunately, that means Brady is no longer a full timer at Gloria's Childcare. Brady has been in Gloria's care since he was 10 weeks old. Brady is even Gloria and her daughter Katrina's god-son. To say there's a bit of an attachment there, is an understatement. Needless to say, it was super hard for all of us to see our little guy venture off into the wild.
But he did it...and we are so very proud. Brady is definitely more sensitive than Noah and sometimes surprises us with his reactions to things....like his moment at McDonald's when he wouldn't go down the slide and stood at the top screaming. Or his instant tears before the circus started because he didn't want to go in. (After some convincing, he decided it probably wouldn't be so bad and he was right. "Mom...I like it!" was heard over and over again.) So you can understand our concerns. He has definitely shown us that he's growing up and that is just too hard to believe. Those who have told us over and over again to cherish the baby days because kids grow up so fast weren't "spoofing" as Mr. Braders likes to say. We certainly thought sending Noah to kindergarten was unbelievable but sending Brady to preschool is certainly a sign that our babies just aren't babies anymore.
Getting ready to go...
Wait a second...who's this sneaking into Brady's blog. It's just Little Ms. Olivia Rae. As you can see, she's no baby anymore. PS...for those of you who were unable to view the video we posted a few weeks ago, NO, we were not announcing another little bundle of joy. Instead, Josh surprisingly caught Olivia taking her first steps as her older brothers and cousin Drew were jammin to the Imagination Movers. Even more of a sign that she too is growing up way too fast.
